More St. George

Just a few left over pics from St. George.

Getting ready to eat at Aunt G's!

Playing with G'pa's stache. So fun to pull on!

St.George Marathon

Last Saturday B. ran the St. George Marathon! Me, The Boy, G&G, and Aunt G., sat through the rain and watched the runners come in. I left The Boy with G'ma, and ran back a mile or so. It didn't take long until I saw a bright green shirt in the distance! I ran back with him, on the sidewalks though, they wouldn't let me on the course. He finished in 2:47:59! Not too shabby for his first one, and for not training as much as he would have liked! I am so proud of him! It was fun to see him run. And to have a wonderfully supportive family there too! It was a great weekend! Thank you G&G and Aunt G.!

All done!

Corn Baby

Nothing like sucking on a corn cob! It seems I have seen all of my nieces and nephews gnaw a cob at some point in their early childhood, so it was fun to see my boy go at it!

Nap Time

I've been dreading nap time lately because it is so hard getting The Boy to relax and go to sleep. The hour long cry fests wear me out more than they do him. But, this morning I was pleasantly rewarded. After playing nicely in his crib, I peeked in and this is what I found....

The poor kid was so tired he couldn't hold himself up. I repositioned him because I am a somewhat paranoid mommy and was worried he couldn't breathe very well.

And then this afternoon he did the exact same thing! yay! I'd like to think that he has finally learned how to soothe himself and the cry fests are over, but I am not holding my breath. However, I will take what I can get. Good job, baby!

Bath Time!

The Boy is starting to like bath time more and more. He splashes a little, but mostly insists on gnawing something!
