first steps

He's walking! This video was taken on August 1, now he walks more than he crawls. Unless he has shoes on, then he reverts back to crawling!

I apologize for the sideways view, I really don't know what I am doing and probably should not be allowed to operate a video camera.

july 4th

can go down stairs backwards

loves his blanket (must be his mother's son)

So, we had a little BBQ with some ward friends ( i know, social aren't we?) and one of the kids was face painting and charging for it! Well, kids 3 and under were free and Pace decided he wanted a garbage truck (what else?) on his cheek. He came running up to me a few minutes later looking a lot like this:

His lips were also black, but I think he licked it off by the time we got home!

His eyelids were covered in black too.

swim lessons

After a shaky start, The Boy now likes swimming lessons. The first day he wouldn't let go of my hand, and the teacher had to hold him almost the entire time. But after the 2nd day, he went in by himself. His teacher's name is Delaney and The Boy told his daddy that he loved her.


The Boy loves to retrieve the toys that Delaney throws.
