a few things....

The Boy is a graduate of Kindergarten Boot Camp
(where he learned the rules of Kindergarten)
See if you can spot the grammar error.

The Boy Dos was obsessed with the Spiderman backpack.
It is his 72hr kit.  He insisted on wearing it, with the food in it, everywhere.  Here he is walking The Boy to Kindergarten.
Is it wrong of me to be sad that he won't start KG until 2016?

 Uncle Pablo's B-day Celebration.
He got all the candles out in one breath.  It was awesome.

Who needs nature? Thursday it rained all day.  Daddy put up the tent in the living room.
And built a fire.  The only thing we didn't have was S'mores. Oh, and nature.

New Tricks

Sitting up!

This is what we call "T's Corner"
We sit him up in the corner and then surround him with toys.
"Nobody puts Baby in a corner."
Well, we do!

Eating Solids!

here's to more messes!

"I am 3!"

 the cake
went for a construction theme, definitely one of the easier cakes.

 opening presents

 the haul

so, I tried  to cut and layer the cake so the inside resembled construction lines, it kinda worked.

Mater PJs (new fave) from Aunt  Tato.
And here is the new bike.  Even though it is the same size wheels as the one he has been riding, this one has a taller frame and he can't get on it (or off, although he did master that a few days later).  But once he is on he does pretty good.

5 months

wasn't he just 4 months?!

smiles a lot
hair coming in
prefers thumb over binky
loves to reach for and grab daddy's nose
rolls from back to tummy
got through first ear infection (i think)
longingly looks at food as we eat (got his hands on a cookie and got it in his mouth)
also, he may have had a little bit of shaved ice

And this is my three year old.

Who apparently thinks he is a baby.

Remember when he looked like this?

 Happy Birthday Boy #2!

first day

 of kindergarten!

So, there were a million kids waiting at the doors, which do not open until 8:25.  I had taken my last pic of The Boy by the sign and said "OK, come over here and wait."  I turned around to tend to my other childrens and then I couldn't find The Boy, he had disappeared!  They finally let us in and so I made my way to his classroom and there he was, name tag on and sitting on the carpet.  He had snuck in the door when an administrator opened it.  I guess I was happy that he wasn't scared or anything, but I did want to say goodbye! And take one more picture!
So far he is really liking Mrs. Adams's Kindergarten class!
