24th of July

 I don't know how you celebrated Pioneer Day, but this is how we did.
We started the morning with a 5k (kids played at G&G B's), and swept 2nd place (overall)!

That night we had ice cream
cones and messy faces.

 Mom's attempt at erupting ice chalk (Pinterest find), it was somewhat successful.

We ended the night with fireworks left over from the 4th.

 This wasn't on the 24th, but I just had to put it somewhere.  This one likes to sit on the table and eat.  This was watermelon.

oh what do you do in the

SUMMERTIME?

Do you eat lots of S'mores?

 Sleep out in a tent?

 Or practice your hula-hooping all day?

Do you play in the water?

 Get loose teeth knocked out by your brother? 

Eat cherries on the newly de-carpeted steps?
