BIG NEWS

On Tuesday, April 2 2013 The Boy reached a huge milestone, one that is essential to happiness in this life.  He rode his bike without training wheels!  What's even cooler is that he just took off, barely even wobbled.  We attribute this to the new "balance bikes", ours is called a Stryder (The Other One is seen "riding" it in the vid), it has no pedals which forces them to work on balance.  We are converted!  It was awesome to see him just go, like he'd been doing it for months!

In other news, Spring has sprung!
 The Boy took this pic.

 Spring flowers!

The prettiest thing in our yard, the new Forsythia Bush!  I love it!

Lunch and bubbles outside.

I did it, I finally did it.
It has been a week and I am still trying to get used to it.
He looks like a completely different boy!
I miss his long hair, but I guess it was time.

Santa Claus is coming to town...

 Ward Christmas Party
The Boy WOULD NOT go up and sing with the Primary kids...but he had no problem sitting on Santa's lap.
This one preferred to play on the book cart.

 The Boy's preschool Christmas Program

 He was the "letter S."

Lam Fam Christmas Retreat at the Zermatt.
Swimming, games and crafts with G&G B and cousins!

 And new Christmas Jammies!

The Blue Room

The boys slept in their new blue room in their new beds last night.  We finally got around to painting this room so we could move the two boyz in together.  This was my very first painting experience.  Painting sucks.  There is so much prep work, and it seems never to end.  In fact, we are not actually finished.  We still have to do the doors....and the trim down the hall (and throughout out the house)....and the "nursery"... it never ends!  As for sleeping, the boys did pretty good, I only had to go in once and tell one little boy to get back in is bed and go to sleep.  And he did!

Now I just need to make some curtains.
