The Boy

New Year's Eve

Sledding at G&G B's

I have no idea what he's trying to do with that thing!

Daddy-Powered sledding!

The Boy really likes to eat plain bread. This particular Sunday morning I had given him one and then was trying to get ready. This is how I found him, comfy as can be stuffing his face with bread on my side of the bed! Needless to say we are trying harder to enforce the "food stays in the kitchen" rule!

Christmas...

was how long ago?
Here are just a few pics from our Christmas celebrations!
playing with "baby Jesus"

The Boy sat exactly like that through then entire "The Twelve Days of Christmas"! He was perfectly still.

Christmas morning. If The Boy looks tired, he is. He only slept for maybe 3 hours, total. He was trying really hard to be an only child. I think he just might have succeeded.

Sharing his "Sit-n-Spin" with his sweet cousin Esther Kate.
Opening a cool wooden train set with Aunt Tato. The Boy doesn't say much, but we did manage to get him to say "Tay-O"!
Playing with his cool new tool bench and Lui!

Opening toys with Papa B

Snow Fun!

The Boy did not want to sit down or lay in the snow.
I did manage to get him to sit in it, but when I tried to push him back gently he got mad and rolled over into the snow. Ooops.
While I shoveled the driveway, The Boy did some shoveling of his own.

Bubble Butt!
The Boy was having snow much fun filling his bucket with snow that he screamed and screamed when I took him inside.

Let's Go Bowling!

Last Friday The Boy went bowling for the first time! For a boy who loves balls, he was in heaven! His very nice Uncle and Aunt and his own daddy let him bowl on their frames.

Waiting for the ball to come back.

Look at that angle.

The Costume

After weeks of trying to figure out the easiest way to make a "Tigger" Costume, my mom and I did it! With a little help from my sis in Alabama, we made a simple jogging suit out of orange fleece. Then I sewed on dark gray felt stripes, a white tummy, ears and a tail! Aren't I so crafty? Thanks Mom and Karalee.

The Boy enduring make-up application. He smeared it within seconds of me putting it on!

Reading with Grandma A.
(one of his favorite things to do)

With Grandpa B at Great Grandma C's, not eating the wonderful chili and black bean pumpkin soup.

Our sad pumpkin, he started rotting a few days after I carved him. So I painted one.

The Boy loved running to the door whenever some trick-or-treaters came. I wish I would have gotten that on video. But here is some other video from Halloween: Tigger jumping and running in circles. (two of his favorite activities)
